Dear Ministry of Environments,
We have witnessed many times how some people freely hunt squirrels and other animals, birds, on the territory of the botanical garden (you can easily see different kind of smart devices all around the garden), and sell them afterwards in the animal markets of Yerevan (one squirrel costs 25000 AMD). You can also see another kind of common "entertainment" there: people come there in groups (often in drunk condition) with pump guns, busy hunting in the daylight! They target mainly crows and magpies but of course, not only them…
The workers of the botanical garden are well aware about the mentioned. But no steps are taken against these continuous killings and lawbreaking.
We believe that the Ministry of Environments is has the right to- and is able to- re-establish the order in the botanical garden.
